They both are of Dutch descent. So some stories happen in the Hats salon, in the City of Antwerp, and of course in the studio of the artist. Ther are also stories about Annabelle, a character which is perhaps 35 years old, but by her mental handicap, she looks 12. It's a lovely person and she and the author have lots of fun. Jozef Bloks is a writer who often just starts writing and then the story comes out by itself.
