We were also visited by Bro. Jones', from Zeta; Bro. Craig, from Phi; Bro. Loutz, from Alpha-Eta, and Bros. Viskniskki, Hubbard, Leiper, and Thomas, from Pi. Our goat has again become active after a long rest, and another royal Kappa Sigma has entered the Twelfth Gate. Brothers, allow me to present Bro. Charles Reigle. Kappa Sigma is represented again on the field of sports. Bro. Hume won the broad jump at the spring games; he jumped twenty feet eleven inches. Bro. Price is doing well in the walk, while Bro. Radcliffe is doing good work for the 'Varsity base-ball team. Bro. Close is pulling No. 4 on the 'Varsity's second boat. Bro. Radcliffe, while playing in the Lehigh game Saturday, was unfortunate enough to break his clavicle; he will scarcely be able to play for a month. On Tuesday, April 13th, we gave our annual smoker. Swarthmore was represented by almost all her Chapter, while several Philadelphia Alumni of Kappa Sigma were also present. The Alumni held a meeting at our chapter-house the same evening. At our last meeting elections took place for the years of 1897-97. The following is the result of the election: Bro. Price, G. M.; Bro. Humphreys, G. M. S.; Bro. Meyers, G. P.; Bro. Weisser, G. T.; Bro. C. Scully, G. S.; Bro. Sanson, Correspondent; Guards, Bros. Sanson and Hume. On Saturday, April 24th, U. of P. held her annual relay carnival. Over 5,000 people witnessed the remarkable event. Almost every university, college and preparatory school was represented by their runners.
