In 2006 the population was 690. Naicam has its own weekly newspaper, The Naicam News. It also receives several radio stations from both Saskatoon and Regina. The local cable television company for the Naicam area is Image Cable. SaskTel provides cellular service to the area. The Town of Naicam offers water, sewer and power to all households and businesses. Provincial bus service is provided by Saskatchewan Transit Company (STC). Saskatchewan Highway 6 and Saskatchewan Highway 349 both serve the town. There is a local airstrip located adjacent to the town.
