Gmina Rzeczniow is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Lipsko County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. Its seat is the village of Rzeczniow, which lies approximately 16 kilometres (10 mi) west of Lipsko and 124 km (77 mi) south of Warsaw. The gmina covers an area of 103.69 square kilometres (40.0 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 4,731. Lipsko County (Polish: powiat lipski) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Masovian Voivodeship, east-central Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and only town is Lipsko, which lies 127 kilometres (79 mi) south of Warsaw.
