The Diocese consists of 46 parishes 13 missions, 44 priests, and 23 deacons. The Diocese operates 3 Catholic high schools and 21 elementary schools, serving more than 5,000 students throughout the same. Originally the territory comprising the Diocese was governed by the Archdiocese of Detroit and later the Diocese of Grand Rapids.
