High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Sadamu Shimomura ( 23 September 1887 - 25 March 1968) was a general in the Imperial Japanese Army and final Minister of War of the Empire of Japan. Shimomura was a native of K chi Prefecture, and a graduate of the 20th class of the Imperial Japanese Army Academy in 1908. His classmates included Prince Asaka, Prince Higashikuni Naruhiko, Prince Kitashirakawa Naruhisa, Mitsuru Ushijima, Heitar Kimura, Takashi Sakai, and Sh jir Iida. He subsequently graduated from the 28th class of the Army Staff College in 1916.
