My love for cooking started when I was about seven years old. I remember my mother keeping me out of the kitchen for safety reasons. Then as I grew older, I helped my mother prepare her delicious and healthy dishes. As a teenager I saw my mother getting home from work and going straight into the kitchen to cook a fresh, delicious and healthy meal, which was ready in 25 to 30 minutes. This meal was usually; salad, chicken, beef or fish and a vegetable side. It always amazed me how quick my mother cooked and served fresh and delicious meals. I am very fortunate to say my mother good cooking traits have been passed to me. The way I cook and eat has helped me over the years to keep my body in shape, and also has given me great healthy glowing skin. I know some of you are wondering why the name of my cooking book, ''Cook Like Me Look Like Me'' Is it a dieting book or a cooking book? It is not a dieting book; it is just a delicious and healthy way of cooking and enjoying food. I love food and I love more cooking it. The pleasure of cooking has allowed me over the years to experiment in the kitchen, and I have always tried to cook as delicious as healthy. I do not believe healthy means bland and boring food. Most ingredients used in this cookbook, ''Cook Like Me Look Like Me'', were organics. I know one can't always afford organics, so what I do is, I buy products in season which read free of ''hormones, pesticides and antibiotics''. I also shop at local farm stores, which for most part sell products in season too, and at the same time one is supporting local businesses. Writing this cookbook has been a pleasure and a great experience for me, and I hope for my cookbook's users as wel
