I ordered this screen on 18 Oct before 9am, paid immediately by credit card. Date for dispatch was expected to be 26 Oct. Throughout this time my order status was 'on order'. I phoned on the 26th, no one knew where the order was, not even if it had been received from the supplier. I then established that Mustek, the Mecer agents, had stock at their own Mecer Shop, as well as in East London. After many calls to the call centre, speaking to a supervisor, Megan, it transpired that besides Loot's problems in moving warehouses, the supplier had also sent the incorrect item! I was simply told that it would be re-ordered, time to dispatch 3 to 6 days. I suggested to them that they put pressure on Mustek to expedite a new order since it was apparently their error. "No can do" I was told. Makes me wonder where the error actually came in when Loot are not prepared to make things right and would rather have the order cancelled, which is what I did, and ordered from the Mecer Shop. Shame on you Loot, from a previously loyal customer!You also cost me an extra R100, but why should you care?
