Thyroid is superior to any medicinal treatment in vogue, to electricity, curettage, or ligation of the uterine arteries. But possibly a combination o- some of these methods with this treatment might prove advantageous in certain cases. Uterus Duplex and Abnormal Hairiness.--A. Hegar Beitr. z. Geburtsh. u. Gyndk., Band i, p. in, 1898) describes a girl, aged i6, who since infancy was abnormally hairy. Menstruation was slight, and was accompanied by pain. The breasts were atrophic. She was markedly hairy on the face, on the anterior aspect of the thorax and abdomen, and on the thighsr but she was not specially so on the arms or posterior aspect of the trunk.
