Fantastic cuppaccino and medium strength coffee

I find the coffee is not strong enough. The cuppachinos are not flavourful enough or frothy enough. Just very disappointed. Pity I didn't buy the one with the coffee jug. Although the filter coffee is so weak. My French press coffee jug makes much better coffee. Breaks my heat to see my coffee machine that I was so excited to buy standing unused.

Even for a newbie to proper manual home espresso machines, this one worked perfectly out of the box with the minimum of preparation and flushing. It produces actual espresso coffee, and steams milk to the same standard as any coffee shop fitting. It has its foibles - some may want to first blast clear the steam spout of a little water (a few ml) before frothing the milk and it vibrates a bit more than expected, but I would recommend it for anyone wanting to give it a go without breaking the bank. Finally - it needs to be placed onto a breadboard to give enough clearance under the steam spout for a small milk jug - not a major issue, just get a shorter jug if it proves too much of a hassle. An online search for spare filters and holders for this unit did not yield results - don't drop or dent any of them! the 2-year warranty would probably not cover a dented rim. I would not hesitate to recommend this as an entry level unit.
