Wight, '90-'91, and Miss Ella Belyea, '93, have left their work in British Colombia. gPeter McKenzie, '96-'98, a former Institute student, is taking up the work in Nanaimo, B. C. Miss Alice L. Coates, '90-'92, here since September, has recently gone to Kansas City to work among the churches of the Methodist Protestant denomination in the interest of the missionary work in Japan. A Bible Institute club has been formed at Denver, Colo. W. H. Evans, '98-'0o, engaged in Presbyterian Sabbath school work in North Dakota, visited the Institute last month and spoke to the students on the need of the field there. The reopening of the renovated and improved German Evangelical U. B. church of Newark, N. J., of which H. F.Hoops, '95, is pastor, on Nov. 23d, was marked by a general jubilee service, one incident of which was the unveiling of a bronze tablet to the memory of the founder and original pastor of the church, Rev. Frederick Hof. We wish to correct a statement made in our last issue regarding the removal of J. Allen Logan, '97-'00. The item should have read that Mr. Logan had accepted a call from a group of Cumberland Presbyterian churches with Chandler, Ind., as a JANUARY VISITORS.
