Kempinski Hotel Falkenstein is a luxurious hotel in K nigstein im Taunus (Falkenstein im Taunus), Germany. It was owned by Kaiser Wilhelm II in 1909 as a sanatorium for officers. Since 1999 it has belonged to chain Kempinski. The building was openned in 1875. It was a sanatorium from 1875 to 1976. Also it was a hospital, military sanatorium, hospital for invalids and was closed in 1991. On 9 September 1999 there was openned Kempinski hotel with 106rooms. In 2001 The German Hotel and Restaurant Association awarded Kempinski Hotel Falkenstein as 5-star hotel.
