Modern Life. Edward Hopper and His Time (Hardcover)

The loneliness of big city life was Edward Hopper's subject. His works have come to symbolize the melancholy of modern life. The catalogue shows six of Edward Hopper's major works together with around 65 other masterpieces from the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York.
