Takes 3x AAA batteries, has auto movement setting button where the light activates on movement - great for when you are working in confined spaces. Has 2 brightness settings, changed via the main push switch (off-on-bright-off). Also has an adjustable beam to have a concentrated light or a wider spread light. The head strap is adjustable and comfortable to wear. Overall good purchase and happy with the product. For the prices, you can't go wrong.
