This is the life story of a truly heroic woman who lived through two world wars as well as the Russian Revolution, often suffering dreadful hardship. She travelled extensively in Russia and the far east meeting many eminent people, and with her family was eventually caught by the Japanese and interned at Weihsien (China) until the end of the war.
