Drawing Parallels encourages us to look at architecture in a new way. Rather than offering conventional views of canonical buildings, Quintin Lake's photographs explore architecture as the physical world around us, from man-made structures to natural forms. Despite the fact that these photographs come from many countries, they suggest a world we can all relate to: children playing on steps; urban underground railways; lovers embracing; entrances to houses.
