At the price this TV was a no-brainer, 4k TV for R7k, that's only a little more than a FHD TV, and it makes a huge difference. The upscaling engine is amazing on this TV, all content looks sharp and perfectly displayed Contrast ratio is superb however it does not do the 1000nits brightness to qualify for full HDR and therefore UHD premium cerification. Another feature lacking is 24Hz support, this is really not an issue though as 24Hz is displayed completely judder free. However the "judder reduction" options strangely increase it, keep these options off and you won't even notice. Build quality and UI of the smart features is fantastic, even the remote is a joy to work with. All in all a fantastic TV for the price. +1 to loot for the overnight delivery of this too!

First of all I received this tv a week ahead of schedule so a big thumbs up to Loot! Great service as usual. Now for the tv: It's amazing! It looks like a high end model and is easy to setup. The Smart features are some of the best I've seen on ANY tv. The display is fantastic especially when viewing 4K content. The amount of detail is actually mind blowing. The upscaling of other resolutions is excellent as lots of TVs struggle with this and the PS4 runs perfectly which is the main thing I bought it for. At this price there is no better 43" tv in SA (or the world according to most reviewers). We don't get high end "smaller" TVs in SA so jump at this offer!

I was one of the first to order this TV online. The setup process was extremely simple. The Tizen interface is intuitive and snappy. I ran a few 4K videos from YouTube. The picture quality is suburb with bright colours popping out and deep blacks. The sound quality is excellent and immersive. With such sound you don't even need a sound bar. Overall I am very pleased with this product and have no hesitation to recommend it.

My wife and I are both 70 years old and not very clued up with all the TV specifications that one is able to read on a product. With this Smart TV- Actions Speak Louder than Words! The Smart remote is such a blessing. No more hassles with tiny key options especially when eyesight is no longer so good. I still cannot believe the true to life picture that one sees and intend to watch my favourite DvD's all over again with, much more enjoyment. I still have to master the finer points of the TV but,the online user manual has helped me tremendously. Thank you Samsung for a wonderful product. Rex and Hillary Martin

Loot service: First of all, the service from Loot was excellent. They provide you with enough information about the product, which makes it easy for you to make the correct decision. The morning when I bought the TV, was the morning I bought my TV licence. The representative / support team from Loot, from their side, made a follow up to confirm my newly aplied TV licence number. The TV was delivered at our door step, within less than 24 hours since the transaction was authorised. The product was delivered in a very well protective package. This proofed great service from the Loot team. Assembly: Assembling the TV on its foot piece went without incident and was a piece of cake, before proceeding to the setup. Setup: The default setup already was like magic out of the box. It was very user friendly in setting it up with my personal preferences, as well as connecting it to available WiFi and other audio/video sources. The WiFi and smart phone connection (screen mirroring) happened seamlessly with both Android and IPhone devices. TV : Watching 4K demo-movies on this TV, contributed to the discovery of 4K recording capabilities of the Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone, consequently further enhancing the overall Samsung experience. The overall picture quality is the best I have seen as compaired to other manufacturers 4K TV's on display in stores. Up to recently, the cheapest 4K Samsung smart Tv, used to be the much more expensive 49" model. This slightly smaller, but of the same quality 43" 4K Samsung TV came in at a much more affordable price for a newly married couple. I would recommend the Samsung 43" UHD TV for those looking for the highest quality picture and sound at an affordable price.

Simply one of the best TV's I've used in a very long time. Picture quality is outstanding, although it does look a little too "fake" when watching movies in 1080p sometimes, but I bought it for playing PS4 Pro in 4k, which looks phenomenal with little to no input lag or stuttering. I think the smart remote also needs a mention. It automatically set itself up for my PS4 and I can now switch my console on & browse the PS4's menu's (that could come in handy if I used the PS4 as a media player). The only con with the remote is that it's not the one with voice control. The smart menus are snappy & responsive & that goes for the built-in media player as well, which also reads NTFS drives.

I downloaded a couple of UHD demo video's and the picture quality is great and even lower quality items looks better with the up-scaling. Connecting to DSTV I just needed to manually adjust the motion setting to not have jitter or to fast pace video. I also like the new remote but it does take time to get used to. I still need to go though and test all setting to see the effects but so far a great buy. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a UHD TV. The only thing it falls short in is the one I received though does not look like the one in the picture. The size from the side is more bulky and the stand is different. From the front not that different though. I sent Loot pictures and they are investigating. Maybe they used the wrong picture for South Africa. I don't know.
