The Trip of a Lifetime (Paperback, 1)

,
In the summer of 2011 I travelled from my home in New York, USA to the United Kingdom to begin what was, for me, The Trip of A Lifetime. From one devoted Beatles fan to another, wherever you may be, this book is a private memoir of my visits to both Liverpool and London, accompanied by plenty of full colour photographs. Inside, I will be sharing with you my emotions and tears of joy as I visited some of the most important Beatles sites on the planet. Experience the shivers I felt as I crossed the Mathew Street cobblestones that the boys had also walked upon and my goosebumps-upon-goosebumps as I visited the Apple Corps Building, the roof of which had been the venue of their final live performance, back in 1969. I also received a private tour of the Jacaranda, stayed at the Hard Day's Night Hotel, and found myself caught up in the middle of the teenage riots that hit the UK that year, which added extra spice to a Beatleful experience I will never forget. So, take off your shoes and get nice and comfy. I am about to take you on an adventure that I hope you will enjoy and, with a bit of luck, you may even be inspired to visit some of the places I did, and experience their spine-tingling magic for yourselves.
