Samson and Delilah (Paperback)

Samson and Delilah is a comic book with a difference taken from one of the famous stories in the old testament bible (Judges 16). This book has been traditionally drawn with water colour pencils. The biblical verses from this book are direct quotes. However, the words in the thoughts and speech bubbles were imagined by the author and illustrator, except in two speech bubbles as the words are direct quotes from judges 16 verse 7 and verse 11. Sandra Chinonyelum Ike was born in the African country of Nigeria in 1985. Her interest in art grew from the age of 9 after a drawing task in Primary school which continued to develop in secondary school when she was able to take the option of Art as part of her GCSE subjects. In college, her love of art continued to grow as she carried on with Fine Art, AVCE Art (Double Award) and Photography. She is a BA Honors graduate in Graphic Arts from University of East London. In the possible future, she hopes to establish herself as a worldwide book illustrator for biblically inspired books and bible stories.
