The Revised Edition of “The South African Soil Classification System. A Natural and Anthropogenic System for South Africa” is the third edition of the system. This edition is structured such that essential components of the classification, namely the soil horizon definitions and the soil form and family information, can be simply extracted to enable practical field implementation.
