He is the owner of the record label ersguterjunge and entrepreneur in the real estate industry. In 1998 Bushido started his career with demo releases and collaborations, including King Orgasmus One, Bass Sultan Hengzt and D-Bo under the Berlin underground label I Luv Money Records. In 2001 Bushido released his demo album King of KingZ, which was re-released in 2003 as a digital version by Aggro Berlin and in 2004 as an extended version. In 2003 Bushido released his debut album Vom Bordstein bis zur Skyline, which reached #88 in the charts and became one of the first German 'gangsta' rap albums. Bushido was born to a Tunisian father and a German mother in Bad Godesberg, a small town part of Bonn in west Germany. Shortly after his family moved to Berlin.
