The soup maker saves a lot of time, and hygienic with the stainless steel inner, so easy to clean. The downside for me is the blade on the lid - bit difficult to insert the lid as the veggies are already inside. Also, the blades are quite small (but powerful). Would be great if the soup maker continually beeped when there was too little water in - it just switches off, so if you've not listening for it, you wouldn't know that there was a problem. On the whole - a product that saves me time and is easy to clean is a winner!
