Three Stories from the Fringe (Paperback)

The individuals of Three Stories from the Fringe embark on a human quest of hope with emotional twists and turns amidst life's pathos. The characters revolve around the modern, everyday nuances of life, which are interwoven with fear, courage, love, death and humor. Mankind's plight of individuality verses the mass mind is the conditions these characters face. The setting is the familiar; coffee shops, parks and at the job, but takes on unfamiliar proportions when strangers intermingle to disclose the inner mysteries of the heart and mind. Each story takes place in venues where lives comingle and reflect social status stripped of reality. What doesn't comingle is the reality each venue depicts and the mindsets each setting constitutes and constrains within us. The stories take place in the Sunshine State (Florida), a supposed place of optimism and hope. What doesn't take place is the answer the human condition strives for. The characters are from the fringe of society and acceptance into the mainstream is one of turmoil and pain.
