Sojourn Through Time (Electronic book text)

Alexandra Stanfords fondest wish is to visit England. She is about to get her wish, however along with the good, comes the bad. In this case, Alexs octopus-armed boss is also going with her, and obviously plans to give Alex his undivided and unwelcome attention. An electrical storm delays their departure, and the wait causes her to have second thoughts about the trip. She closes her eyes to temporarily withdraw from her boss, but alarming noises soon break through her meditation. Heading straight toward the terminal... and her, is a huge jet careening wildly, out of control. Before it hits, she has just enough time to duck. When she awakens, she finds herself in the most incredible predicament: somehow shes arrived in England and shes a houseguest of a duke who wears antiquated clothing. The man also gives orders for a leech to be placed on her arm. The purpose is to enhance healing. Bloodletting? Has the world gone mad? And why does this duke act as if shes a hooker?
