Tamara Sniezek is an Associate Professor at California State University Stanislaus. She earned her Ph.D. in Sociology from UCLA in 2002. In addition to teaching Introduction to Sociology, she conducts qualitative research in the areas of family and gender. She recently published an article in "Qualitative Sociology" on her ethnographic research on weddings.
