The New Adventures of Jasper Woodbury--The Right Angle

In "The Right Angle," Paige Littlefield is following a set of clues to find a family heirloom her grandfather left for her in a cave. As Paige searches for the cave, students learn about topographic maps and geometric concepts important for measurement. An accident occurs when Paige reaches the cave; students m ust help her friend Ryan find the cave on a map and give directions to the Rescue Squad to get there as quickly as possible. This is a challenging episode for Grade 6 and up involving both math and social studies.
