Applied Speech Measurement for Speech-Language Pathologists (Electronic book text)

This book introduces students of speech-language pathology to basic instrumental procedures for measurement of speech and voice. Each laboratory exercise includes a list of equipment, materials, a rationale, step-by-step instructions, a framework for documentation, and suggested resources for additional information. The manual includes a compendium of standard oral reading passages. Note: This manual was developed for students enrolled in the graduate-level speech science course (SPATH 5132) at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport.
