"Towards Strategic Language Learning" is the result of extensive research in the relationship between mother tongue education and foreign language learning. As language skills that are taught during native language lessons are applied in foreign language performance as well, it is vital that curricula of both are organised in such a manner as to facilitate foreign language learning or vice versa.
