I have no knowledge on the snbject.' Q. Have yon read any testimony as to the rate of insnrance having been increased fifty per cent.?--A. I have read the testimony saying that it was higher. Q. I nnderstand that yon have no knowledge of the charges of the lines on the Jersey side of the river for the general-order bnsiness?--A. I never know what the charges were. Q.
