Not illustrated. 1877 Excerpt: ...the two dorsals nearly equals the length of the head. Ventrals midway between the base of the pectoral and the spinous dorsal. Anal commences before the soft dorsal; both emarginate behind. Shining golden, darker above, with longitudinal streaks along the series of scales. Locality: Harbor of Honolulu, Oahu. Very numerous.
