Anal commences before the soft dorsal; both emarginate behind. Shining golden, darker above, with longitudinal streaks along the series of scales. Locality: Harbor of Honolulu, Oahu. Very numerous. Base of soft dorsal and anal fins black; a short black streak a little distance from the base anteriorly, more plainly visible on the dorsal than on the anal fin; on the former, another short streak above the first.
