The teacher in the one-room school deserves special help. Start an expert advisor on regular visits to your one-room schools just as soon as you possibly can. Avoid a false beginning. Study to adapt the program in physical training to the needs of the school, its teacher, its pupils and its community. c Every school system should have an expert supervisor of physical training appointed early. He should not be given more schools than he can cover. All teachers in the schools under his supervision should be directed to report to him at regular intervals for instruction, training in leadership and for conference. He should visit every school and classroom within his jurisdiction at regular and frequent intervals to advise teachers and direct their work in physical training. d Reports on the operation of the program and syllabus of physical training are to be made yearly to the Department of Education by the various superintendents. Each school should report its work to its superintendent. e If you need help or advice write to the State Department of Education.
