The annual contribution shall be three dollars. Any member failing to pay said contribution for three years without a valid excuse, shall cease to be a member without any action of the Society, provided due notice be given of his arrearages. Pierce, Prof. Stellwagen's amendment to Article 3 of the Constitution, viz.: And that no practitioner of dentistry or medicine shall be invited to take a seat or part in the discussions of this Society until he be provided with a certificate showing him to be at that time in good standing professionally, and a member of a local or medical society?was taken up, considered and negatived. Dr. R. Huey's amendment to the Constitution, Article 3, Section 5, viz.: Any member of a local society, having once served as a delegate, may become a permanent member of the State Society, by signifying such intention to the Secretary?was considered and adopted. Dr. G. W. Klump's form of certificate, as an amendment to the constitution, was considered and adopted, viz.: This Testifies that Dr. was duly elected a delegate to the Pennsylvania State Dental Society, on the day of, by the Association, and that the said Dr. is now an active member of good character and standing, and at this time in regular practice.
