Our World Displays (Paperback)

The books in the THEMES ON DISPLAY series contain ideas for stimulus, interactive and table-top displays that involve and celebrate children's work. Each book will focus on five popular early years themes suitable for three to five-year-oldds. There will be clear learning objectives and Early Learning Goals curriculum links for each display area. A main introduction to each book gives practical tips and information on areas such as mounting, lettering, using drapes and working in 3-D. Photocopiable pages at the end of each book will provide useful templates, lettering, borders and activities. The OUR WORLD DISPLAYS BOOK will provide lots of lively interactive display ideas covering the themes of: People who help us, Weather, Places, Homes and Journeys. The display ideas will help children to develop a wide range of skills across the early years curriculum. They include creating a 3-D rubbish monster to help learn about caring for the environment; an interactive weather chart and a duck pond counting display.
