East of Kingston South of Here (Paperback)

Every person has a story to tell, but most are never told. Mundane happenings in the lives of people who are, or become, famous somehow grab our attention; perhaps we feel our lives become richer for having shared theirs. Strip away the names and the name-dropping and, arguably, that story becomes just another story. Is it, then, any more worthy than ours?

These are my family stories; where we started, the paths we traveled, and what we did. All of the natural ingredients are here: war, peace; youth, old age; love, lost love; family, strangers; success, failure; struggles, and fun. No additives and nothing harmful to your health. You may laugh, cry, or check my facts and decide you could have done it better.

Many of my characters first breathed life long ago in far distant places; my turn came alongside US Route 70, six miles east of Kingston, Tennessee, and certainly south of Granger, Indiana, where I now reside. You may tackle the whole or examine the parts. Together, they tell the tale. I invite you in to share these family experiences.
