Through the Knot Hole - Life Is Better on the Other Side (Hardcover)

Everything hinges on loving God. Our relationships with each other are a reflection of our relationship with God. You cannot love God and despise or be careless with the people around you; He has placed them there for a season and a purpose.
I have learned the value of loving God more than I love my children. Even more than I love Rose. I have even learned to love God more than life itself. I believe that this is why I made it. I can love more effectively. I even love my enemies.
When I live a life of loving and trusting God, my steps are ordered; I can be obedient without doubt or question, and my faith has become greater. I have learned that I rely on Him rather than myself. This trust has allowed me to make it through the valley, through the terrible storm, through the knothole.
Winston S. Nurse was born in Barbados, West Indies, and immigrated to the United States in 1961 with his younger siblings. Educated in the U.S. he left college to serve four years in the U.S. Air Force where he came to Christ. During the Viet Nam war, Winston did his tour of duty in Thailand. While raising his family he attended Hofstra University at night working on his undergraduate degree. He later earned his degree in Business Administration at the University of Phoenix.
With Rose, his wife of 38 years, he started a home remodeling business, R&W design interiors, in the Denver area. The couple lives in Parker Colorado. Together, the Nurses have three children: Rosealine, Sue-Lin and Elaine and two sons-in -law, James and Don (Dee). They are also blessed currently with four grandchildren Jasmine, Julia, Jae and Ellis.
