Luisa, a cyclical novel in THREE VOLUMES, is a love story in letters between two young people who fall in love in Swansea, just weeks before the summer break separates them. Interwoven with the letters are three other story lines. Vol 1 [AN EMPTY FACE]: A young man's struggles how to communicate with woman (Luisa is a first love, and having little else as words to write letters, all that he has learned about communicating with woman is put to the test). Vol 2 [PERFECT LOVE]: Ares the Greek God of War and voice in man trying to identify the voice in woman, thereby laying bare the foundations on which love is built (Ares tries to direct the course of action to solve the riddle that has kept him from returning to the Olympus). Vol 3 [IGNORANCE IN ACTION]: The search for a definition of ignorance (with the aid of this Korean friend Chun, the teachings of Buddhism, the unfinished writings of Nietzsche, and the experience of loving Luisa the search leads to the discovery of Love's secret).
