Rohan is educated but unemployed. Inspired by his neighbor Ranjit, he goes to the US to fulfill his ambitions. His friend refuses to help him, but he finds other friends, Hindustan and Pakistan. They give him shelter and Rohan in turn gives shelter to Pooja. Pooja falls for Rohan, but for him, ambition comes first. Enter Loveleen, an American bred Indian girl who Rohan feels is the stepping stone for his success. Rohan dumps Pooja, who goes to work for Mr Balraj Khanna and decides she can be a great wife for his son Karan. Rohan is blinded by the glitz and glamour of American high society while Pooja still holds out a torch for him. Will fate dictate she marry Rohan or Karan?
