Alan Baxter is also a film-maker whose career began in the mid-1970's with the making of a short 16mm film entitled "Dakota." Then in 1978, John Updike granted him permission to make a short-film dramatization of his short story "Ace in the Hole." Since then Alan has co-produced many independent movies, featuring such actors as Adam West (TV Batman series) and Annie Golden (Hair). Alan is also producing another independent film entitled "Juan and Emmet," a provocative film dealing with the dark regions of human sexuality.
