Bear (Board book)

The unusual "Nibblers" board books have soft, plush fabric covers and look just like the head and jaws of kids' favorite stuffed animals. Pocket-style openings at the back of each head (which is also the spine of each book) are exactly the right size to let a little boy or girl slip four fingers into one pocket and a thumb into the other. Now, the animal becomes a hand puppet, with a mouth that opens and closes at the child's will. The book's sturdy board pages are inside the animal's mouth, with a brightly illustrated story about the animal--and its habit of chewing or eating. (Ages 1-5)
