Dream of the Yellow Dragon (Paperback)

This story begins when an American owner of an organic flower shop in Portland Oregon unknowingly meets the Chinese god of agriculture and medicine (Shen Nong) while having breakfast in Beijing. The Chinese god has been in exile since the start of the green revolution. The plot of the story focuses on the American's attempt to restore the god to his previous glory while working in opposition to Mr. Queensly, the owner of a bio-tech corporation. The story contains many side plots including illegal drug trafficking, a love triangle (or maybe a love square), the Walker protest in Wisconsin, magic dream potions, and the awakening of a character to a former life. The story is an extension of Chinese mythology into modern American life.
