Their turn shoes for the fine trade suit modern tastes and are worn by women who keep up with the advance of thinking, creating shoemakers. Dugan & Hudson are making a special push on their oil Russia shoes, which they are making in four colors, in boys', youths', misses' and children's sizes. Last season they made a practical test of oil Russia which satisfied them of its superiority for colored shoes, and they have, therefore, decided to use it extensively this season. Oil Russia is pliable, yet firm and tough, and will not crack. Its particularly valuable qualities are its beautiful finish and its great durability. The color, besides, is very even, and the leather holds its shade well, even when wet, so that shoes made of it do not become rusty or peel off and have a tattered appearance after a few weeks' use.
