Yes, I do indeed. On what do you found that Belief? He told me he had but Two-pence Halfpenny when he came to me about Twelve and had the Pennyworth of Potatoes. One of the Prisoners gave him a Pint of Beer Did you fee him again on the Third Day? Yes, he brought in a little Piece of hard Hung Beef. I told him it was hard, he could not eat it being an elderly Man, L would soften it for him. I put it in the Pan and Butter to soften it for him, and then he had. a Half, pennyworth of Potatoes with it. Did he tell you where he got that Hung Beef? He told me he brought it m with him; and the next Day he had a little Bit and his Wise was with him, and he told me that was all the Hung Beef he had, and they had a Pennyworth of Potatoes between them, and they sat and cried very much together; they were in my Room near Two Hours.
