Come magnify the Lord with us, let us exalt his name tugether. We met with a very favourahle reception. Mr. Dice introduced us to Her Highness the Begum, who received us with every mark of respect. I felt a little awkward at first, hut soon found myself at liherty, and enter cd inM conversation with her Highness in the Hindobst'hanee respecting the prugress of religion in the world, the circulation of the Holy Scriptures, aud other things with which she seemed much pleased. We bad the honour of hreakfasting and dining with her. We are now residing in a tent, hut a very spacious hungalow is preparing for us, and every other convenience in a very commodious situation. Within ten minutes easy walk to the Begum's palace, and at one tide of her camp, which I suppose must contain two or tbree thousand troops, hesides many others attached to her Highness's estahlishment.
