This book is a collection of Scripture references, original poetry relating to those references, and a relevant thought for the day . . . one for each day of the year. The Bible references, for the most part, are from the New Revised Standard Version. Traditional in nature the poems on these pages are rhymed but often not obviously so. They are not intended to illustrate with any precision the Scripture for each day, but rather to put in poetic form the emotions, sentiments, and situations, both real and imagined, evoked in the author's mind by the Scripture passage.
