Rollin' & Coastin' (In Search of America) is the first solo album released by London-based Irish musician Ron Kavana. The album was released on LP 1985 and compact disc by Appaloosa records in 1994 (AP 042-2).Released as a 1985 solo album, the tracks were recorded in 1984. The first five tracks feature Kavana with Gary Rickard; the remaining four feature Kavana with his old band Juice On The Loose. The Appaloosa is a horse breed best known for its colorful leopard-spotted coat pattern. There is a wide range of body types within the breed, stemming from the influence of multiple breeds of horses throughout its history. Each horse's color pattern is genetically the result of various spotting patterns overlaid on top of one of several recognized base coat colors.
