His first employer (in 1862), the honory president, O. F. Fuller, toasted the birthday child, as only this G. O. M. can do; brief, but touching. Those who have been there themselves and who have not been there, will know. July 8.--The Elks' Convention crowded us out of the Elks' Club, and out of the Loop entirely this week. We had to arrange for 01T Round Table at the Lincoln Club, formerly Germania. A pity we can not meet there regularly. The room is quiet, the meal of best German cooking, the beer under the blast...
