Leslie (Paperback)

Aislynn is starting a new school and feels as if it is going to be outright torture. She soon finds out that it will be the best, and worst, time of her life. She meets Leslie, Kellin, Nate, and Derrick and soon becomes great friends with them all. She soon discovers there is something different about Leslie, something she likes. She can't let anyone know because the reason why she moved here in the first place was because her mom found out about her and another girl. Everyone thinks she moved because her parents got a divorce, which is far from the truth. Her dad is in the military and he was stationed in Florida when Aislynn and her mom move to Maine to get away from the girl. Aislynn decides the best thing to do is find a guy to try and get her mind off of Leslie. She gets with Kellin, ruining the friendship between Kellin and Leslie. Aislynn thinks everything is all and well until she starts hanging out with Leslie, alone. Kellin soon finds out and tells Aislynn's mom, which makes her mom think that Aislynn should move across the state to live with her aunt and uncle for a while until her dad gets stationed in California. Kellin comes to visit her and let's her know that he isn't mad and he gives her a note from Leslie saying that she was sorry for everything and misses her. When Kellin gets back to his house, he finds a note for Leslie from Aislynn and gives it to her. Aislynn wrote that she missed Leslie and that she thought they could make it through high school and wanted to meet up the day after graduation. Leslie decides it's best for them to go their separate ways and live their own lives.
