A CONTRIBUTOR to The American Printer some time ago said that the best way to train a young man to enter the printing business is to give him a good education in this country, and then send him abroad for a year or two of travel. It was contended that in no other way could he imbibe an atmosphere of true art principles that should be characteristic of all printing. There are only one or two American printers who consider an annual trip abroad as a part of the legitimate expense of the business, and one of these is Ingalls Kimball, the moving spirit of the Cheltenham Press, New York. Mr. Giraldi is at the head of the American Correspondence School, and he has fitted up a part of h i s establishment with entirely new material to do nothing but give attention to the needs of the school.
