The States cl Utrecht having assembled on the full inilant, at which were present the Deputies of the towns of Wyk.a.Duurstede Montfoort, and several other places, the Assembly unanimously resolved to send a depuration to their High Mightinesses the States General, demanding the exertion of their supreme authority, in order tosuppress all the late violent measures taken again It the Sovereignty of the Province of Holland t and in cafe of noncompliance with this requisition, they were determined to consider the Union as totally dissolved. In consequence os the above demand, their High Mightinesses have revoked their resolutions of the 1st and xo: h instant, by which they ordered the troops of the Province of Holland immediately to quit the territories of Utrecht, and not to act in any cafe without their express command, nor to remove any ammunition or stores belonging to the Republic. "These Resolutions being carried to the Council of State, the Members of which are immediately under the influence of the Prince of Orange, they refused to obey the order, of the States General; and what will be the consequence, time alone must discover.
