There will be demonstrations in printing, toning and mounting--also retouching and treatment of negatives. Many hints and helps will be shown in this feature of the convention which will aid the investigating photographer. There will be two practical art lectures by men who study art and photography together. The officers have labored hard for the success of the Association, and feel that they will be able this year to meet every expectation, but it requires interest, and assistance on the part of the whole fraternity to attain the limit of success. The convention lasts but three days this year. The first day is a very important one and should be attended early. Let every one make his three exhibits. It is the effort that begets enthusiasm and enthusiasm insures a successful photographer. We will have good entertainments and assure everyone a grand good time. If you miss the convention this year you will lose a good opportunity and will regret it. Most earnestly yours truly, THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE. WHAT YOU SHOULD DO. Every member of the Association is expected to make an exhibit either for competition or complimentary. Every photographer not a member should become one at once and attend one of the best conventions we ever had. Commence on your display at once so you will not have to rush it at the last moment. Do not forget to send your dues to C. Vandeventer, treasurer, Decatur, 111. They are $2.00.
